This park was made famous by John Wayne’s movie “Hatari”. It consists of the spectacular Momela lakes, Mount Meru and the Ngurdoto Crater. The vegetation and wildlife varies with the topography which ranges from mountain forest to swamps. This park is famous for the gorgeous black and white Colobus monkeys. Arusha National Park is also home to 400 bird species and other animals including buffalos and giraffe.
