Godfrey Tumwesigye, is a tourist guide by profession with five years of experience. We loved our guide, Godfrey from the very instant we met him at the airport. He was full of excitement and information. He went above and beyond his call of duty to ensure that we had the best experience possible in Uganda. Fantastic as a guide and a travel partner. BRAVO! He handles day to day marketing roles as well as safari planning operations from putting together client’s itineraries, to the time when we say bye to our client.
He holds a diploma in tourism And Hotel management from Great Lakes Regional University and a diploma in Wildlife and Allied Resource management from Uganda Wildlife Research Institute-Kasese. A certificate in Dutch language Basics from Heemsteede school of languages-(HSL). He is a founder and chairperson of the Avian conservation Uganda society. He is also the founder of a charity organization Fund a child center in Ruhijja sector of Bwindi national park that runs a primary school (Think Africa Academy) for orphans. Godfrey was born in Western Uganda next to the foothills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park,which is home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population.
He grew up in an orphanage Bwindi Orphans Group (BOG ) at the age of 14 he started accompanying Tourists into the tropical rainforest for mountain gorilla trekking safaris and bird watching as a porter, Something that prepared him for the lifetime job he nurtures. Godfrey has developed effective and efficient leadership and teamwork skills, is punctual and is always keen to learn and share with his clients. He has led both cultural, Birding and wildlife tours around Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Godfrey has done various courses and has a Certificate in Cultural tourism Guiding, Bird Guiding and a Certificate in Advanced Motoring Techniques for Tourist Drivers. He is the Chairperson of the Uganda Cultural Guides Club (UCGC) and also a member of the Uganda Birding Association (UBA).
Godfrey is an Ordinary Member with Uganda Bird guides club,Africa Birding Club and Avian conservation Uganda society a membership based NGO working to promote the understanding, appreciation and bird conservation in Uganda and a Member of the Uganda Safari Guides Association (USAGA), Uganda Bird Guides Club (UBGC), Uganda Cultural Guides Club (UCGC) and Uganda Tourist Driver Guides Club (UTDGC).
On top of that Godfrey is also a Licensed and certified Tourist Guide Assessor by the Directorate of Industrial Training-DIT and UTB-Uganda Tourism Board.

PRECIOUS ASIIMWE
Reservations Officer
Precious Asiimwe first joined Interior safaris East Africa as a trainee in 2021 and part of 2022, as part of the Interior safaris East Africa Trainee Program. Precious was one of the best trainees, so eager to learn and hardworking. Only satisfied when a job was done really well. So in late 2022, we were very happy she joined the Interior safaris East Africa team! Precious started as a Reservations Officer.
She organized all trips, and in case there was no availability for one of our clients, she did not rest until she had found a good solution. And during these years, Precious took the opportunity to travel a lot through Uganda and Rwanda. After her graduation in 2022, Precious joined the Interior safaris East Africa sales team in the same year. Precious is now responsible for client inquiries and packages to Uganda and Rwanda.
Precious’s passion is traveling. She loves going on safari, visiting new countries and destinations, and meeting and interacting with people of different cultures. It makes her very happy when she sees prospects turn into happy clients! So send her an inquiry and she gets on it right away!

Zam was keen to keep the personal touch that first brought success and today she is the lead translator who speaks more than six (6) foreign languages. Zam’s beliefs are at heart of everything we do which is why we are dedicated to the conservation of East Africa’s Natural and cultural resources.

Kenneth with more than twelve (12) years of experience in birding. We have around several guides given the number of trips and safaris we have gone. No question as to Kenneth’s skills and abilities.

With his great experience in camping safaris around East Africa, tailor your own itinerary and Rodgers will do even beyond your expectations. We had a custom made itinerary through Interior Safaris East Africa, and I can’t say enough about how great they were.

Our safari tour designer provided absolutely professional and first-class service. Every booking and guide, driver and staff person we met were exemplary, and the suggestions they made for us were fantastic. As first-time travelers to Africa, we had many questions, and our agent responded promptly and in detail to all our questions. Godfrey and his partner met with us in person not once but twice – that level of service is something we have not encountered before. Our guide and driver was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly tour staff we have ever met – we were sad to leave Bernard.
We cannot recommend this safari tour company highly enough!
Our expectations were high, and they were exceeded!
The selection of properties and the level of service at them was exemplary. The animal sightings were continuous, and guide’s knowledge helped us really gain the most from our time on game drives.
We wish we could have spent more time there! Tanzania is a big country, and even though we had an amazing experience, we know there’s more to this place than can be experienced in two weeks.
